At 6am Thursday, April 19th, Pat and Scott, not traveling together, checked in for their 8:15am flight from Seattle to Toronto on Air Canada. Eight hours later, they were still sitting in the waiting area at Sea Tac airport. Your intrepid PlanetFeedback roving reporter just happened to be sitting in the same block of chairs, waiting for a flight to Los Angeles, and overheard the discussion about their dilemma.
Here, then, are the details of their ordeal.
It began at check in. They were told their flight would be delayed until 10am.
Pat, from Seattle, was traveling to France via Toronto and London. Scott, a Toronto native, was heading back home to Toronto. Prepared for an already long day, neither had any idea just how long it would actually be.
